Bowman Shin, DMD

Dr. Shin has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry since 2000. He grew up in Lynnwood and Mercer Island and attended Mercer Island High School. He graduated from University of Washington with a bachelor of arts in Zoology and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Shin is committed to continuing education to provide the latest innovative materials and dental techniques. He believes in conservative and preventative dentistry. His practice philosophy is to treat his patients like family. Dr. Shin and his staff are committed to the highest quality dentistry in a gentle and caring environment.

Dr. Shin is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington Dental Association, Snohomish County Dental Society, and Alderwood Study Club.

Dr. Shin is married to Dr. Nicole Lee who is an orthodontist and has two rambunctious West Highland Terriers. He enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, camping, cooking, and hiking with his dogs.

Hal

RDH - Hygienist

Born in the Philippines, Hal and his family immigrated to Seattle in the early 90s. His first job was a Pharmacy technician in Kirkland. With many years of experience in health care, Hal decided to pursue a career in Dentistry by earning his education at Seattle Central College with a Dental Hygiene degree in 2008.

As a new addition to the team, Hal joined the office in 2020. He treats his patients like his own family and ensures everyone gets the highest level of dental care. Those who cross his path learn about the values of maintaining good oral hygiene and the comforts of a dental visit. Often, he strives to deliver the most comfortable and thorough cleanings through the use of high tech equipment and available technologies.

Like many others, when Hal is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He's developed a passion for photography and pursuing an active lifestyle. Most of all, Hal cherishes his free time by taking his Corgi, “Sir Bazil Longfellow” out to explore the surrounding dog parks.
